I spy with my little eye is a collection of of places, objects, experiences or stories within the city the twenty contributors perceive as urban treasures. The pocket sized fan shaped publication allows the viewer to mix and match pages maps, the marks on transparent paper and the pages that display a treasure.
It challenges the view of a traditional city guide and is created rather as an invitation to see places through different eyes, question what we see and eventually to get lost. With the help of symbols and colours each treasure is marked on transparent paper and can be matched with either the right map or another. The location of each treasure can be deciphered with the help of coloured symbols on transparent paper that can either match the right section of the map or lead you to a entirely different location and might lead to new discoveries.
